Making their re-entry into the Counter-Strike scene, 100 Thieves is eyeing Astralis’ star AWPer, device.
According to multiple sources, including HLTV and Dust2.dk, the experienced Danish star is set to join his new home. This move also marks a reunion with gla1ve. The star duo, who once dominated the scene with Astralis, will be joining the team—one as head coach and the other as the primary AWPer.
After leaving Astralis in April 2021, device transferred to Ninjas in Pyjamas, where he won IEM Fall 2021 Europe and finished as the runner-up at IEM Winter 2021. He returned to Astralis a year later.
With the recent signing of rain, 100 Thieves aims to become a major contender in the arena. By adding gla1ve as coach and device as the AWPer, they are poised to become a staple top-10 team.
