5Ronin Announced Its 2021 VFŞL Roster

Teams in the League of Legends esports industry which has talented gamers in start to prepare their squads for the 2021 Vodafone Freezone Championship League. LoL players are ambitious for this tournament. Due to their wishes, the squads gonna occur in a short time. One of these squads, 5Ronin has just announced that their squad for 2021 VFŞL.

After November 16 that is the due date of the 2020 Global Contract Database, the transfer season has started. Teams continue to part ways with their players and transfer new players since November 16. On December 10, the 2021 VFŞL squad of the 5Ronin team announced that they parted ways with Exorant, who played the main coach role in 2020. The 5Ronin team is as follows:

  • Top Lane: Onurcan “Oncan” Atak
  • Jungle: Kim “BroCColi” Yoon-jae
  • Mid Lane: Umut “Umut” Atlı
  • Bot Lane: Na “Pilot” Woo-hyung
  • Support: Murat Mert “Brolia” İlgün

When we look at the squad established by 5Ronin, the team seems pretty pretentious. With the new teammates’ jungle and bot lane players, the 5Ronins makes us wonder about the future of the squad. While the 5Ronin team, which is very close to being the champion in TBF 2020, is competing for the 5th match, the team lost the series by 2-3 to SuperMassive. If they manage to adapt quickly, it is obvious that this team plays well in the 2020 Winter Season Final.

Last year, players in the top lane, mid lane, and support roles saw that they were in 5Ronin when they played in TBF 2020 even though everyone was writing them in 10th place in the power rankings before entering 2020. Other than the known old teammates which are mid lane, top lane, and support players, let’s have to take a look at the new players of the team.

The new players in 5Ronin that we are gonna mention now are Pilot and BroCColi.

Na “Pilot” Woo-hyung

The 25 years old player started his career in Korea’s Alienware Arena in the bot lane with the name y0shi in June 2013. Pilot, transferred to the Royal Youth team in November 2018. He won the 2019 TBF against SuperMassive with the Royal Youth team. With this competition, he managed to appear in Worlds 2019. Later, he spent the year 2020 in Challengers Korea, which is the Korean Second League, with OZ Gaming jersey. 5Ronin’s career path will be very clear if the Pilot, who has performed very well in Royal Youth, performs the same this year.

Kim “BroCColi” Yoon-jae

21 years old BroCColi started his career in November 2017 with the Challengers Korea team I Gaming Star. Throughout his career, he played only in Challengers Korea, except for 6 months of LMS’s second league experience, ECS. BroCColi, who transferred to OZ Gaming in January 2020, was teammates with Pilot. If Pilot and BroCColi manage to get along with the team, they can become one of the league’s most ambitious teams.
