9z finished 6th in the Americas RMR event, earning the team the last ticket from their region in the PGL Major Antwerp 2022. 9z will compete against FURIA, MIBR, Imperial, Complexity, and Liquid in the next Major from the American RMR.
The destiny of Americas RMR’s last ticket to the Major was decided in extra matches the day after the regular half of the event ended. In the finals, 9z defeated Evil Geniuses (16:11 on Nuke, 12:16 on Inferno, and 16:14 on Overpass) and paiN in a row (16:11 on Mirage and 19:17 on Dust2).
