Our representative Aurora suffered a heavy 2-0 defeat against HEROIC in the PGL Masters Bucharest 2025 Group Stage.

After a strong start to the tournament, Aurora hit the HEROIC wall. Having eliminated fnatic and Liquid earlier, the team couldn’t keep up against xfl0ud’s HEROIC. The first map ended with a shocking 4-13 scoreline, and although Aurora tried to stay in the game on Inferno, HEROIC sealed the deal with confidence.

xfl0ud delivered an exceptional performance for his team — posting a 1.25 rating and +2.86% swing on Mirage, and 1.38 rating with +4.48% swing on Inferno, becoming the top fragger. His gameplay was praised by fans and analysts alike.

Aurora Starts Fast, Finishes Fast!

Despite criticism toward MAJ3R for his recent low frag counts, he performed decently this time — yet Aurora couldn’t find its rhythm. Poor showings from XANTARES and woxic ultimately led to the defeat.

Although the playoff stage isn’t entirely out of reach for Aurora, fans are beginning to express frustration. Following a disappointing run at the TP World Championship — where they were one of the top favorites — this loss at Masters Bucharest 2025 raised new doubts among supporters.

xfl0ud’s HEROIC officially clinched a playoff berth after defeating Aurora. The Danish organization beat NIP, BetBoom, and Aurora to secure their spot and now await their next opponent.

Beyond HEROIC’s qualification, xfl0ud’s phenomenal form has been a major highlight for Turkish fans. Across six maps, he’s averaging a 1.43 rating, making him the second-best player of the tournament — just behind Astralis’ blameF, who sits at 1.61.
