Our representative Aurora will face Liquid in the Quarterfinals of the FISSURE Playground 2 Playoffs. The match is set to take place today.
Held in Belgrade, Serbia, FISSURE Playground 2 features a prize pool of $1,250,000. With the conclusion of the Swiss Group stage, the playoff battles have officially begun, and the matchups already promise to be intense.
The first playoff match will see our Mongolian brothers The MongolZ face G2. Following that, at 14:30, Aurora will take on Liquid.
Aurora reached the playoffs undefeated. First defeating Astralis, then TYLOO, and finally FURIA. In the Astralis matchup, Aurora dropped just one map but went on to win every subsequent series without losing a single map.
If Aurora manages to defeat Liquid, they will face either G2 or The MongolZ. A matchup against The MongolZ would serve as the rematch of the Esports World Cup 2025 Grand Final.
The Aurora vs. Liquid showdown will be broadcast live on ROOT and Arhaval.
