Bitexen TESFED Turkey Cup Is Starting!

Registrations for the “Bitexen TESFED Turkey Cup” will be open to esports lovers from all over Turkey. Furthermore, this tournament has an EXEN Coin prize pool worth of $20,000. The tournament will start on July 2nd. The final matches will be held live, for the first time in a long time, at Istanbul Theme Park.

Turkish Esports Federation, or TESFED, was established under the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Turkey in 2018 with the aim of gradually developing the gaming industry in Turkey. Its first and current president is Alper Afşin Özdemir.

Esports lovers are eagerly awaiting Turkey’s only official esports cup “Bitexen TESFED Turkey Cup 2021”. This tournament promises an esports marathon full of excitement and competition that will include 11 popular titles. Registration for the Bitexen TESFED Turkey Cup started on July 2nd and will continue until 2 days before the online qualifiers.

Interest in the TESFED Cup is growing every year and our national players are making our country proud with their achievements in the international arenas.

Since the day we were founded as a Federation, we have been working to develop esports on healthy foundations in our country and to make Turkey a world-class esports country. With this goal, we are launching Turkey’s only official esports cup Bitexen TESFED Turkey Cup. One of our steps to support young people and esports, for the third time this year as a larger organization.

The champions of our Cup are now institutionalized and represent our country as national players in international esports organizations. Last year, the Turkish Esports National Team, which consisted of the winners of the NBA2K tournament of the TESFED Turkey Cup, won the “FIBA Esports Open” by beating all its opponents. Moreover, this situation made young esports players more interested in esports tournaments.

The finalists will meet the audience at Isfanbul Theme Park in August for the first time after a break from live matches due to the pandemic. The finals will continue for 2 days. In addition to the matches, there will be many more additions that will entice esports lovers.

After the completion of the final matches, the champions of Dota 2, Tekken 7, and PES, will get a chance to represent Turkey at the 13th World Esports Championship. If they exceed at the regional qualifiers, the champions will qualify for the World Championship Finals, which will be held in Eylat, Israel, between December 14-20.
