In their latest blogpost, Blue Mammoth studio announced that 2021 season will feature a total prize pool of $1,000,000 across all regions. There will be 4 seasonal championships, the Brawlhalla Pro Series, and the Brawlhalla World Championship 2021. You can check here to learn more about Brawlhalla esports scene.
The company also stated that they will be making some improvements to the “stream viewing experience”. Registering for the tournaments will also be a lot more smoother.
The game sets itself apart with its focus on big sponsored esports events with huge prize pools. In this regard, this game can be put within the same category as big MOBAs and competitive shooters. The game itself is also free and available on basically everything.
I respect Blue Mammoth’s approach when it comes to Brawlhalla esports scene. Some companies (Nintendo) could really learn something from them.
