bubble gets ahead of TaZ in maps played on the Professional Arena

30 years-old Bulgarian SKADE player Kamen “bubble” Kostadinov has topped the list of professional players with the most maps played. The Bulgarian CS:GO veteran has now surpassed 35 years-old Polish Wiktor “TaZ” Wojtas, who had previously topped the list.

Bubble had played 2137 maps at the time of the statistics released, whereas TaZ had played 2135. In terms of rounds played, though, the Pole is still ahead of the Bulgarian.

Interestingly, bubble won the aforementioned position despite having never competed in a Major, which he joked about on Twitter.

According to HLTV.org database the Top-20 players at the pro level based on the number of maps they’ve played:

Since the game’s debut in 2012, bubble has been participating in the competitive CS:GO scene. He represented various teams at this period, including Rouge, Windigo, and Fiend. Windigo’s most notable feat was winning the World Electronic Sports Games 2018, which netted him $500,000 from the overall prize pool.

Along with his current club SKADE, the Bulgarian, failed to qualify for the forthcoming PGL Major Antwerp 2022.
