CS2 New Update: Community Maps, Charms, and More

CS2 woke up to a brand-new update on October 2, 2025. With this patch, new maps, charms, and several gameplay changes have been introduced.

Valve rolled out an important update overnight, bringing notable changes to maps and cosmetics.

[ Maps ]

  • 4 new maps have been added to the game:
    • Golden and Palacio → Added to Competitive, Casual, and Deathmatch.
    • Rooftop and Transit → Added to Wingman.
  • Removed from all modes: Jura, Grail, Dogtown, and Brewery community maps.
  • Palacio and Golden community maps have been added to Competitive, Casual, and Deathmatch.
  • Rooftop and Transit community maps have been added to Wingman.
  • Ancient / Shoots: Various player clipping fixes.

[ Armory ]

  • Added the Missing Link Community Charms Collection, featuring 23 new charms created by Counter-Strike Workshop community artists.
  • Added the Dr. Boom Charms Collection, with 22 new charms.
  • Added the 2025 Community Stickers Collection, featuring 29 new stickers created by Workshop artists.
  • Added the Sugarface 2 Sticker Collection, with 9 new Sugarface-themed stickers.
  • Removed from The Armory: Gallery Capsule, Graphite Collection, and Character Craft stickers.

[ Gameplay ]

  • Deaths on the scoreboard will now increase when players die from C4 bomb explosions.
  • Limited Zeus-x27 kill streak bonus added in Deathmatch.
  • Fixed incorrect pixel offset for sniper scopes larger than one pixel.
  • Accuracy indicator added for sniper scopes.
  • Keychains will now lightly rattle when a player makes audible footsteps.
