Digital Athletics Parted Ways With Its PUBG Team!

Digital Athletics, one of the leading teams of the Turkish PUBG scene, announced important news. They announced on Twitter that the organization has parted ways with its PUBG roster.

Digital Athletics is one of the most important teams in the Turkish PUBG scene. They were an ambitious team that has proven its success on the global stage. It is also worth remembering that the players of the Turkish team were of foreign origin.

On May 23 of this year, they signed with pixel1k, vard, ubah and Xiong (Sambty). Later, ubah left the squad and was replaced by Jembty.

The team did not usually participate in local tournaments, and focused mostly on the global scene. Thus, they were included in the top 8 teams in the ESL PUBG Masters Summer Grand Finals in the first two weeks. In terms of ranking, they were 7th in the first week and 4th in the second week.

Failure of Korea ticket for PGC triggered their seperation

They were directly invited to the PUBG Continental Series (PCS5) Europe Grand Finals stage. Thus, the team skipped the regional qualifying phase. They made an intense effort in the first and third weeks. But the second week caused them to fall far behind. Therefore, they had difficulty in collecting the required PGC scores. Ultimately, it caused a winning team to finish in 10th place in the overall ranking. This also hindered the team from getting a ticket to Korea for the PUBG Global Championship (PGC).

As a result of all these developments, the Digital Athletics organization made a Twitter announcement. They announced the decision to part ways with the PUBG roster. The team stated:

We have parted ways with our PUBG team by mutual agreement.

We would like to thank our players for the struggle they have shown so far and the success they have given us, and wish them success in their future careers!
