Discord announced today that the partnership with PlayStation has reached a new stage. Players will now be able to link their Discord and PlayStation accounts.
Both Discord and Sony released instructions on how you can link two accounts. In Discord, the options is in the User Settings/Connections menu. Connecting two accounts together will have your PSN name and game displayed on your Discord profile.
Two partners had announced their colleberation back in May 2021. Sony also made an undisclosed ammount of investement for this deal. The first aim was to roll out this integration in Q1 2022, which looks like they have succeeded.
This feature is gradually being rolled out to users, so don’t be surprised if you can’t find it. The feature will begin rolling out to US users this week and other countries next week. If you can’t find the option now, wait a few days and check again.
