Week 4 of DPC is over, in this article we will be looking at the recap of the week. Some regions have clear winners. This means, that these teams have theoretically guaranteed themselves an invitation to the first Dota 2 Major of this year, which will be held in Singapore. You can read our article about it here.
Some of these teams are: Team Secret in Europe, Neon Esports in Southeast Asia, Virtus.pro and NAVI in the CIS, as well as Beastcoast in South America.
As we previously stated, Chinese regional league is on hiatus because of the Chinese New Year. It will resume next week on February 23.
For the format and the rules of the tournament check here. Here are our week 1, week 2 and week 3 recaps.
Now, lets look at week 4 recap of DPC.
Team Secret looks to be the undefeated champion of this region. Viking.gg scored a win against OG. Within that series, there was an action packed third game where Viking.gg overcame OG midlaner Topson’s Ember Spirit.
This led to some chaotic standings. From 2nd to 7th spot all the teams have a shot at the Dota 2 Major. Next week is going to be a wild ride for sure.
