Tuğkan “Elraenn” Gönültaş, one of the most-watched Turkish streamers, talked about Twitch Bit Scam controversy in his live stream on Instagram.
During the live stream, he said:
Twitch doesn’t quite do what it’s supposed to do. We can communicate, but we haven’t come to a conclusion yet.
The fact that my personal information and my family’s address was shared by scammers on forums and discord servers made the situation ridiculous. That’s why I haven’t been streaming for a while.
Elraenn said that in times like these, all streamers should be united. Later in the speech he said:
I parted ways with three people from my team. I’ve already edited Eightborn’s Whitelist from A to Z. 4-5 days pass over them.
You will say what is our fault, but do not care too much. Streamers need to support each other. Now we have to put these hostilities aside.
I hope Twitch makes the necessary moves in the coming days. The Turkish community and streamers are really fed up with the Bit Scam controversy.
As esportimes, we congratulate Elraenn for this attitude.
