ESL, which organizes game organizations around the world, has moved CS:GO tournaments from the ESL Play platform to the FACEIT platform.
ESL made its announcement on its Discord channel. They stated that they made this move in order for the administrators to be more active, to enable the community to participate more, and to benefit from new tools. So now FACEIT platform will be used instead of ESL Play.
FACEIT is an esports platform founded in London in 2012. It contains many games such as Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and League of Legends. A platform where leagues are created and struggles are acquired comprehensively. It was stated that the platform was preferred by ESL due to the fact that it contains many tools and features. Thus, ESL games will now be played through FACEIT.
