ESL has announced the full schedule for the group stage of ESL Pro League Season 14, the first level one event to take place in the new season after the summer tournament break.
The tournament, which has a $750,000 prize pool, will kick off on August 16. After the summer tournament break, Europe’s 24 strongest teams will try to become champions in their first major tournaments with their new transfers.
The group stage will be held separately as Group A on August 16-20, Group B on August 21-26, Group C on August 27-31 and Group D on September 1-5. The league schedule will continue uninterrupted for three weeks, with only one day off in the middle of Group B.
ESL Pro League Season 14 will be the first-tier event where teams will face off after the IEM Cologne tournament, which ended in mid-July. Due to pandemic restrictions, the tournament will take place entirely online.
Between now and IEM Cologne, Paytyn ”junior” Johnson was transfered to Bad New Bears, Nicklas ”gade” Gade was transferred to BIG, and Alex ”ALEX” McMeekin and William”mezii” Merriman were transferred to Fnatic.
