The group stage of the fifth season of the European Development Championship will kick off on August 18th. 16 teams from across Europe will participate and once again 30.000 $ is the prize pool. The tournament is organized by Eden Esport and Polish gaming agency Fantasyexpo.
Like in previous seasons, the main event was preceded by 2 open qualifying tournaments and a Wildcard tournament. At that stage, Infinite and bankaPEPSI turned out to be the best and secured their spots in the main event. Group stage matches will take place on August 18-28 and the playoff stage will kick off on September 2nd. The grand final is scheduled for September 5th and the teams will battle for a 30.000 $ prize pool and a bootcamp in Malta for the winner.

It is the fifth and last season of the European Development Championship series. Tournaments were very popular among the community, and $150.000 was a total prize pool.
