The EVP players and best five lineup of PGL Masters Bucharest 2025 have been revealed — with three Aurora players making the list.
MAJ3R earned his place among the best five after finally fulfilling his promise to win the trophy, while XANTARES was awarded the MVP title.
Following his dominant performance, XANTARES rightfully earned the MVP award.
Our star player competed in 23 maps throughout the tournament, averaging a 1.27 rating. His outstanding 1.38 rating performance in the grand final left fans in awe.
Another standout from Aurora was Ali “Wicadia” Haydar Yalçın, who delivered crucial impact just behind XANTARES. The young talent played 23 maps and finished with a 1.17 rating, ranking 7th overall. Considering only the players who reached the playoffs, he was easily among the top three.
Following Wicadia was GamerLegion’s PR, who achieved a 1.25 rating and ranked third. Then came our final opponent Legacy’s player saadzin, who earned a 1.37 rating and took fourth place.
xfl0ud’s teammate nilo rounded out the list in fifth place and was also awarded an EVP mention.
Despite carrying his team and maintaining one of the highest ratings in the tournament, xfl0ud was not included in the EVP lineup, which sparked criticism.
HLTV explained that his overall rating dropped when excluding the NIP series — a reasoning the player publicly disagreed with.
Unsurprisingly, the first name in the All-Star lineup was the tournament MVP, XANTARES. Dominating the opener role, he ranked first with a noticeable lead over other competitors.
In the IGL role, another Turkish representative, MAJ3R, was selected for his tactical brilliance and impactful leadership throughout the event. His performance on the T sides was unmatched on the road to the championship.
Our young star Wicadia was chosen as the best closer thanks to his consistent and clutch plays following XANTARES’ lead.
The All-Star AWP player was saadzin, while n1ssim was selected as the best anchor.
With his MVP title, XANTARES became the fourth most-awarded player of 2025 — surpassing NiKo.
