FACEIT Signs a Partnership with Movistar Riders!

FACEIT, an esports tournament platform, has announced that they have signed a partnership with Spanish esports organization Movistar Riders.

Through the FACEIT-specific agreement, both sides will work on bringing Movistar Riders fans together on the esports platform and provide them an opportunity to communicate and play through a variety of activations.

The release implies that the platform’s round-the-clock moderation, which attempts to improve users’ overall CS:GO experiences, would benefit the organization’s supporters and players. Movistar Riders will also be able to organize monthly tournaments where players may contend for FACEIT points, money, goods, and other rewards. Through this partnership, the organization is also given access to the FACEIT Shop for direct marketing and sales.

Collaboration between EFG and Movistar Riders also includes ecosystem-wide initiatives including the primary team, talent team, and coaches. Movistar Riders will take an active role in promoting community growth through competitions, seasons, and events. A scouting ground for the academy is also planned.

Movistar Riders, a Madrid-based esports team, has participated in League of Legends, CS:GO, FIFA, and Rainbow Six Siege since its establishment in 2017. Their CS:GO squad recently outperformed expectations with a stunning victory in the ESL Challenger Melbourne.

Cristian Duca, Director of Creator Partnerships at FACEIT, commented on about the partnership:

We’re thrilled to partner with Movistar Riders and provide Spanish players with an unrivalled gaming experience on FACEIT. Together, we aim to foster a vibrant community and offer exciting opportunities for competitive gamers.

With the aim of supporting its community and providing a moderated venue for competitions and casual play, EFG and European esports organization 9INE reached a similar deal earlier this year.
