Fantasyexpo Acquires PGL Major Stockholm Broadcasting Rights

Poland based gaming agency Fantasyexpo, announced that they have acquired the broadcasting rights for PGL Major Stockholm. The deal encompasses eight central European countries. These are: Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Bulgaria and Romania.

PGL Major Stockholm is a major CS:GO tournament. The tournament will also be held in LAN. This is a big change as the most previous CS:GO tournament were held online, because of pandemic related restrictions. Events of this scale usually attract an average of 500,000 viewers. Which equals to about 50,000,000 hours of total watch time. According to forecasts, this time up to 1,500,000 viewers will gather to watch this monumental tournament.

We are constantly setting the achievement bar higher and higher. The organisation of broadcasts for so many fans, in eight different languages, is surely a jump to a higher level for our agency. It is a great challenge not only for our studio but for the entire team cooperating with commercial partners and media.

Krzysztof Stypułkowski, Co-Founder of Fantasyexpo

The tournament will start in October and end in November of this year. Fantasyexpo will take advantage of their extensive broadcasting experience gained on the domestic market. While also using their expertise gained through their involvement in international projects such as European Development Championship and BLAST Rising. The agency also acquired some major-tier tournament in the past such as MLG Columbus 2016, PGL Major Kraków 2017, FACEIT London 2018 and StarLadder Berlin 2019.

This cooperation between Fantasyexpo and PGL is a next step in a partnership. The agency recently announced that it would become the exclusive marketing and business partner of PGL, which entitles it to service and acquire advertising partners for local and global broadcasts.
