One of the most noticeable trend in the growing crypto industry are the fan tokens released by professional sports and esports organization.

To put it simply, fan tokens allow fans to support their favorite teams with the help of blockchain technology. Esports teams worldwide quickly adopted this trend which started in Europe and the U.S. first.

Now, fastPay Wildcats, one of Turkey’s biggest esports organizations, will release the country’s first esports fan token, IWFT.

Starting from August 26, IWFTs will be on sale at Bitci.com.

It will be interesting to see if other major Turkish esports organizations will also start releasing their own fan tokens.
