FaZe Clan, Gambit Esports and Virtus.pro invited to $250,000 Roobet Cup 2022

The tournament organizer Relog Media, has announced the Roobet Cup 2022, an online tournament with a $250,000 prize pool that will take place from June 22 to June 30. It will include a number of top-tier teams, including FaZe Clan, Gambit Esports, and Virtus.pro.

Only seven teams have confirmed their participation in the event so far, out of a total of sixteen: FaZe, Gambit, Virtus.pro, Entropiq, Copenhagen Flames, MOUZ, and Imperial.

The teams will be grouped into four quartets and compete in a best-of-three Double Elimination (GSL) format in the group stage. In the Single Elimination tournament, the two best lineups from each group will proceed to the playoffs, where the winner will be chosen.

  • Virtus.pro
  • Entropiq
  • Copenhagen Flames
  • MOUZ
  • Imperial

More information on the invited teams and possible qualifiers will be released soon, according to the organizers. NIP, Astralis, and Heroic are also regarded “target teams”, which they want to see among the other major names competing in the competition.
