FaZe Clan wins ESL Pro League Season 15 over ENCE in GRAND FINAL!

FaZe Clan continued their title streak today by defeating ENCE 3-1 after a strong effort in the ESL Pro League Season 15 GRAND FINAL.

FaZe has won a major CS:GO event for the second time in a row. The multinational team won IEM Katowice 2022 a little over a month ago, giving them their first trophy of the year. Even though they were up against a team that could be considered a dark horse for the event, ENCE put up a commendable effort and made FaZe sweat.

Even yet, FaZe’s eventual success was dependent on their experience and ability to play under duress. Hades and his comrades finished the first half of the series’ third map, Mirage, with a comfortable 7-8 result on the terrorist side. Unfortunately for them, they were unable to respond to karrigan’s point calls in the second half, grabbing only two rounds before FaZe ended the map and reclaimed the series lead.

The story was identical to Mirage on Dust2, the grand final’s fourth and final map. ENCE stayed up in the first half, but they ran out of gas and ideas after halftime to overcome FaZe’s outstanding defense, resulting in Robban’s men claiming the EPL championship.

FaZe has won yet another big event in the CS:GO scene, making it the team’s third win in a row. Simultaneously, the international squad edged closer to capturing the Intel Grand Slam Season Four. The squad is only two ESL S-tier events away from taking home the $1,000,000 prize pool. FaZe has also been confirmed for the BLAST Premier World Final 2022.

On the plus side for ENCE, their Israeli player Spinx, was named MVP of the ESL Pro Tour DHL MVP!

ESL Pro League Season 15 MVP: ropz!

HLTV & Bitskins has been named Robin “ropz” Kool the Most Valuable Player of ESL Pro League Season 15 after putting up team-leading performances and helping FaZe win their second straight championship.

The 22-year-old was recognized for his outstanding performance in the playoffs, as he posted a 1.21 rating as a vital player for FaZe throughout the bracket stage as they defeated Players, Natus Vincere, FURIA, and ENCE. ropz received a 1.16 average rating, 0.74 KPR, 0.57 DPR, a 1.13 impact rating, and 74.7 percent KAST over the whole event and the astonishing 23 maps FaZe played in the round-robin group stage and playoffs.

Before the grand final match between the two European teams, Lotan “Spinx” Giladi and Helvijs “broky” Saukants were his main competition for the individual award. They’ll almost certainly win the Exceptionally Valuable Player (EVP) award, along with other exceptional performances like Fredrik “REZ” Sterner and Yuri “yuurih” Santos, who were also in contention for the award before their semi-final defeat.

After collecting his first medal in the ESL Pro League five seasons ago in MOUZ’s title-winning campaign in Odense, Denmark at the end of 2019, ropz has now added a second to his collection.
