The Israeli rifler announced that he will be looking for offers since his contract with OG is about to expire.
According to his agent Jérôme Coupez, who tweeted in response to a report by Blix, Shahar “flameZ” Shushan’s contract with OG is about to expire, and the Israeli rifler will probably let it expire. The tweet wasn’t clear about “all options”. It might be include OG but because of the huge interest that shown to young talents like flamez, OG may not be a possible option.
Due to the variety of alternatives available to him on the market and the 19-year-old’s growing interest, the young man, who transferred from Endpoint to the Danish organzation in April 2021, is now likely to leave his home of two years.
flameZ‘s potential ascension is not entirely unexpected given that during his time with the squad, he averaged a 1.10 rating as an aggressive entrance fragger.
Despite flameZ‘s impressive match performances over his two years with the team, OG struggled to contend for titles. The team couldn’t manage to make significant progress in top-tier events except for reaching a peak of No.8 on the world ranking back in March 2023 and advancing semifinals of the BLAST World Final in December 2022.
Majors, the Counter-Strike circuit’s premier event, was also difficult for the international squad to compete at. After having a disappointing 1-3 record, OG finished the IEM Rio Major Challengers Stage in 9-11th place and placed 12-14th position at recently ended BLAST.tv Paris Major Challengers Stage.
It is also reported that Nikolaj “niko” Kristensen is may leave OG. The Danish player was initially signed to the roster as a stand-in for Nemanja “nexa” Isakovi, who retired from the active lineup in February.
The organization first announced that the Danish player will remain with the squad for the rest of the BLAST.tv Paris Major circuit, which has recently come to an end. However, no information regarding his future has been revealed yet.
