Astralis, one of Denmark’s successful esports organizations, has added former professional player Frederik “LOMME” Nielsen as an analyst to its CS:GO roster. The organization announced the news, on its official Twitter account.
LOMME, who was a part of Heroic and ENCE, will continue with Astralis from now on. The 28-year-old Danish analyst had been with the ENCE in the same position for over 6 months.
This is the fourth change in Astralis’ roster after the team failed at the PGL Stockholm Major. The Danish team has replaced long-time riflers dupreeh and Magisk, and head coach Danny “zonic” Sørensen earlier this month.
LOMME will be working with the team’s new head coach, veteran Alexander “ave” Holdt. The organization also signed with Benjamin “blameF” Bremer and Kristian “k0nfig” Wienecke to replace their departed players.
LOMME made the following statements:
Getting signed by Astralis is what almost every Dane involved in CS dreams of, and I am super excited to be here.
It will be fantastic to work alongside so many talented players and staff, most of whom I have worked with previously at different times in my career.
I think I’ll be able to support Ave with a lot of tactical input and preparations ahead of games. I’m looking very much forward to shaping the ‘new’ Astralis with him.
The new roster will play their first game during BLAST Premier Fall Final which will be held between November 24-28. Fans really want the former mighty Astralis to return. We shall see if they can manage to do that.
