FunPlus Phoenix finalized 2022 League of Legends roster

FunPlus Phoenix has released their full lineup for the 2022 League of Legends season, and the team is built on Lin “Lwx” Wei-Xiang, a primary AD Carry star. Lwx is also the only original member of FPX‘s roster who has remained with the squad.

Only Lwx from the initial lineup has remained with the Chinese LPL club. Ping “xiaolaohu” Xiao-Hu, Yang “Beichuan” Ling, Kim “Gori” Tae-woo, AD carry Luo “jiang” Bai-Jiang, support Fu “Hang” Ming-Hang, and another support Dang “Lele” Bo-Lin are among the newcomers.

With the exception of Nuguri and Lwx, all former FPX players have found new homes. From its academy squad, FunPlus Phoenix Blaze, the LPL team promoted players xiaolaohu, Beichuan, and jiang to the main stage.

The most well-known name in FPX, Gori;

He’s rejoining the LPL after departing the LCK’s Nongshim RedForce. Gori rose through the ranks of SK Telecom T1, EDward Gaming, and others before joining Nongshim Redforce. FunPlus Phoenix has a history of promoting players from the academy to the main squad, but the youthful club will have a lot of work to do if they hope to emulate the success of FPX’s 2019 season.

The 2019 World Champions had a fantastic year, finishing second in the LPL Spring, Spring and Summer Splits. However, their Worlds 2021 effort was not as successful. Despite being the favorites to win the event, they were eliminated in the group stage.

The LPL Spring Split 2022 will begin in January 2022.
