FURIA emerged as the champions of BLAST Rivals 2025 Season 2 following the Grand Final clash against Falcons.
The Brazilian team FURIA claimed their fourth trophy in the three months since the summer break. Led by FalleN, the team secured the 2025 Rivals title, building on their previous success at the 2025 IEM Chengdu tournament.
Along with their fourth championship, FURIA also took home the $125,000 prize. YEKINDAR‘s excellent performance in the final, combined with KSCERATO‘s stellar play throughout the tournament, paved the way for the championship. Additionally, the team surged to new heights thanks to molodoy‘s rising form.
The first map was a disaster for FURIA. It was concerning to see Falcons take the map with a score of 13-3. On Inferno, kyxsan‘s performance with a 2.54 rating proved unstoppable for FURIA.
While Inferno slipped away from the Brazilians due to kyxsan‘s superb play, a star emerged on their own pick, Nuke: YEKINDAR. The Latvian player became FURIA’s savior with massive stats—a 21-3 score on the T-side, +29.83% Swing, and a 4.06 rating—leveling the series.
Train was a fiercely contested battle for both teams, featuring double overtime where molodoy took center stage. With two quad-kills in overtime, he boosted his team’s morale and secured the win.
On Falcons’ pick, Mirage, although it started in favor of the Saudi organization, FURIA had a weapon in molodoy. Delivering exceptional AWP play on the CT side, molodoy was the architect of their 7-5 halftime lead. With molodoy‘s superb gameplay combined with the performance of KSCERATO, who had been consistent all tournament, the match became an easier victory for FURIA. Falcons’ attempts to stay in the game through their young star m0NESY proved insufficient. Ultimately, FURIA claimed the championship.
