G2 Esports is About to Sign With Meddo, hoody & pipsoN!

According to Dexerto‘s Arran “Halo” Spake, G2 Esports is about to sign with Aaro “hoody” Peltokangas, Johan “Meddo” Renbjörk Lundborg, and Daniil “pipsoN” Mesheryakov.

The organization, which had previously signed with keloqz and koldamenta, achieved success with these changes. Completing the first VCT main event in second place with a renewed roster, G2 took its place among the best again. The organization then finished Stage 3: Challengers Playoffs in fourth place.

Despite finishing in the top four at the Masters-Berlin tournament, G2 was unable to collect enough points to qualify for the VCT Champions. That’s why they played in the Last Chance Qualifiers. They finished the tournament in the third-place after losing 2-0 against the Guild in the qualifiers.

The former Giants trio had a good season. They qualified for the EMEA Challengers Playoffs. After that, they placed third in Red Bull Home Ground #2, where they participated under the Giants.

If all rumors are true, G2 Esports’ new season roster will be like this:

  • Oscar “Mixwell” Cañellas
  • Auni “AvovA” Chahade
  • Žygimantas “nukkye” Chmieliauskas
  • Johan “Meddo” Lundborg
  • Aaro “hoody” Peltokangas
  • Daniil “pipsoN” Mesheryakov (Coach)
