Gambit Esports Became the Champion of Masters-Berlin!

VALORANT Champions Tour 2021: Stage 3 Masters – Berlin ended with the fight played between Gambit Esports and Team Envy. At the end of the day, Gambit became the Champion of the tournament.

Gambit Esports 3 – 0 Team Envy

The first match of the Grand Final was played on BIND map. Team Envy managed to take a 6-2 lead in the first half. With the return of Gambit Esports, Team Envy closed the first half with a 7-5 lead. After a balanced second half, the match went to overtime with a score of 12-12. While Timofey “Chronicle” Khromov had an outstanding performance, Pujan “FNS” Mehta fell short of expectations in the overtime. Gambit made the series 1-0 with a score of 15-13.

The second match was played on HAVEN map. Team Envy closed the first half leading 8-4. Even though Envy team played well in the first half, Gambit Esports had a lot to show in the second half. Dominating the map in the second half, Gambit made the series 2-0 with a score of 13-11.

The map that determined the champion was SPLIT. The first half ended with a 6-6 tie. Gambit was dominant in the second half of the match. With Chronicle’s outstanding play, Gambit won the match with a score of 13-9 and became the champion.

Gambit Esports took home the $225,000 prize money along with the championship trophy. Team Envy won $125,000 prize money and 375 VCT Points.
