gla1ve Joins Astralis for PGL Major 2021!

Astralis, one of the teams that will compete for the PGL Major Stockholm 2021, the biggest CS:GO tournament of the year, has announced its roster, including Lukas “gla1ve” Rossander.

Gla1ve, who has been spending time with his family for a while, will return for PGL Major. Astralis captain gla1ve will be on the roster replacing Lucas “Bubzkji” Andersen. So, Astralis will keep its OG lineup, that got them 4 championships.

PGL Major Stockholm 2021, which has a prize pool of 2 million dollars, will start on October 26.

Astralis, currently the 8th team on the HLTV rankings, is also the favorite of the major tournament. Featuring the best teams like NAVI, Gambit and NIP, the PGL Major will be the most exciting tournament of the last 2 years.

Kasper Hvidt, Astralis’ Sports Director, said:

It is never easy to take a player out of the starting line-up and with Lucas, it can seem a bit unfair as, no matter the circumstances, he has been a true professional and always delivered his best on and off the server.

Danny and I have had a good talk with Lucas about the decision. He is disappointed, but he also knows he is a big part of the team, and he will give his best to help out.

With Captain Lukas “gla1ve” Rossander joining the team, the final roster will be as follows.

  • Xyp9x
  • dupreeh
  • gla1ve
  • Magisk
  • Lucky

Stay tuned for new information on the PGL Major Stockholm 2021 tournament, which will start on October 26.
