Rockstar Games shared the second weekly content in GTA Online this month. Seven new Survival Mode maps, part of the summer update, will be waiting for players. So, the Survival Mode will reward double money and RP. Apart from that, all garages in the game are on sale for your car collection. Besides that, the podium vehicle of the week is Vapid Retinue Mk II. Rockstar also cited that this weekly content will be available through July 19.

Vapid Retinue Mk II is on the podium of Diamond Casino & Resort this week. The classic sports vehicle, as you can guess, is an advanced version of the regular Retinue. Retinue Mk II was added to the game with the Diamond Casino Heist update, and its look resembles the second-generation Ford Escort.
Every day of the week, you can try your luck to acquire the car by spinning the lucky wheel in the casino. If you’re not lucky, you can also buy it from Southern San Andreas Super Autos for $1,620,000. Also, if you complete the Diamond Casino Heist as the heist leader and use Retinue Mk II as the getaway vehicle, the sale price will drop to $1,215,000.
Some sequels try to reinvent what’s come before and stand alone on their own terms; the rest are bigger, brasher rehashes of the originals. Vapid knew exactly what they were aiming for with the Retinue MkII – its predecessor’s soft curves were replaced with hard angles and the overpowered engine and rally-ready suspension came back with a vengeance. This is an American car for the European boy-racer market that feels all too familiar, and there’s no shame in that.
Southern San Andreas Super Autos
As we mentioned, Survival Mode will give double rewards to players. In addition, the freemode events, such as challenges and business battles, will pay triple rewards to the winners.
This week’s time trial parkour will take players to Mount Chiliad. Players who complete the Up Chiliad course in 1 minute and 10 seconds will receive the $51,000 prize. For more information about the racetrack, check out the video below.
Vespucci Beach is the time trial racecourse we will complete with the remote control vehicle RC Bandito. You need to complete the track that gives us some summer vibes in 2 minutes and 5 seconds to earn $101,000. You can also watch the walkthrough video below.
This week’s discounts are mostly on aircraft. Last week there were discounts on a few aircraft, but they didn’t have the majority. Besides the submarine Kraken, Slamtrack is also discounted. And garages are 40% off.
We said new Survival Mode maps were added to the game this week. The event, therefore, gives players extra rewards. But that’s not the only bonus. Players participating in Survival Mode this week will earn $100,000 within 72 hours.
Simeon Export missions, which GTA Online players do not prefer to do, also come with a clothing bonus. For those of you who don’t know, let us tell you about it. Simeon wants you to bring some vehicles to his garage in the game. If you complete one of these this week, you’ll have Sunset Tint Oversize Shades within 72 hours of logging in after July 15.
GTA Online players, who connect their Social Club account with Prime Gaming will receive different benefits than normal players. The players with Prime Gaming accounts will be rewarded with $100,000 for a login bonus, a free Sonar Station upgrade for Kosatka, and discounts on Buckingham Valkyrie, and Dinka Sugoi.
We don’t have a lucrative thing to do this week like the last week’s content. But, Survival Mode is one of the few events where the action never ends. That’s why you can spend a lot of time at this. In addition, the extra rewards it gives will feel like we won’t waste our time.
If you have bigger goals, focus on heists and your businesses to make more money. You probably made some money with your Bunker, which we recommended you to buy last week. Whether you decide to spend that money on investments, or buy something from this week’s discounts, remember that GTA Online is a game that those who save their money will enjoy more. Other than that, take your time to do the Cayo Perico Heist. Whatever comes new to the game, the most profitable thing will be that heist.
