hampus on Brollan: “He’s the strongest Swedish player”

NIP’s in-game leader Hampus “hampus” Poser remarked on Ludvig “Brollan” Brolin’s signing from Fnatic during a press conference for the ESL Pro League Season 15 playoffs. The Ninjas’ rookie is the best of the current Swedish players, according to the IGL, which is a must for a team claiming to be the strongest in Sweden.

He’s the strongest Swedish player. If you want to be the best team in Sweden, you need the best player in Sweden. I’ve played with him before and I know what he’s capable of. He’s a very aggressive guy who takes the lead and is not afraid to step in as a second IGL. Maybe in some situations he will be the one opening the site first and sharing all the information. Since the moment when Ludvig left me in Red Reserve, I’ve always wanted to play with him again, to get this opportunity… My dreams seem to have come true.

On March 22, Brollan’s move to NIP was announced. The press announcement was followed by rumors from many credible sources that the Ninjas had set up a proposal of roughly €600,000-750,000 in discussions with Fnatic. However, no formal information about the player’s buyout cost has been released.

The European RMR event, which will take place from April 21 to 24, will be Brolin’s debut tournament with NIP. Aside from the Scandinavians, fifteen additional squads will compete for eight berths at PGL Major Antwerp 2022.
