Heroic wins BLAST Premier Fall Final 2022

Heroic took down FaZe Clan 2-1 in the grand final of BLAST Premier Fall Final 2022 and lifted the trophy in front of their home crowd in Copenhagen. The Danish team earned the $200,000 prize money with this victory.

Defeating Heroic in the group stage, FaZe Clan made it to the finals by dominating Ninjas in Pyjamas team 2-1 in the semifinals. On the other hand, Heroic defeated G2 and Team Liquid on their way to the finals.

FaZe had a great start to the series with 5 consecutive round wins against Heroic in Overpass. CadiaN and Jabbi’s exceptional performances balanced the scoreboard, and the Danish side managed to take 8 rounds in the first half. In the second half, CadiaN and co. kept the ball rolling, and won the first map 16-11.

FaZe chose Inferno, which they have an incredible 87.7% win rate for their map pick. Against the odds, Heroic successfully parried the attacks of the North American team and took an 8-4 lead. FaZe’s young trio managed to turn the favor around, and FaZe took the second map 16-12.

In the nail-biting decider map, Mirage, Heroic crushed FaZe in the first half with an 11-4 lead. In the second half, the game tied to 12-12, and eventually went to overtime. Heroic successfully took the victory in the first overtime, won the map 19-16, and became the champions of BLAST Premier Fall Final 2022.
