Hussar Cup will Be Held in Poland!

In the Hussar Cup tournament, which will be held in Poland, eight teams will compete for top prize of $350,000.

The Hussar Cup, a Counter-Strike LAN event with a $1,000,000 prize pool that is scheduled to take place in Poland from August 30-September 3, will include teams from all around the world competing in CS2.

The tournament will take place in Chorzów, Poland, with the Śląski Stadium acting as the venue. In addition, there will be parallel events including a gaming and technology exhibition, seminars, and debate panels, as well as a municipal parade.

Eight teams, four qualified and four invited, will compete in the event. These teams will initially be divided into best-of-three groups, similar to the GSL. The group winners will progress to the playoff semifinals, while the runners-up and third-place finishers will move on to the quarterfinals. A single-elimination, best-of-three format will be used for the playoffs.

Eight teams will advance from the open qualifiers to the closed qualifications, which are slated for August 6-9. The open qualifiers are expected to be played from July 20 to August 4. Two more teams will qualify from a second Polish qualification that will take place on August 5. Eight teams will join them in the main closed qualifications based on their HLTV rankings, and the top two teams from the main closed qualifiers will be given a spot in the Hussar Cup.

In the main competition, invited teams will join the qualifying teams. In the unlikely event that CS2 is not available in time for the qualifications, CS:GO will be played in its place.
