Statement about the rule violation committed by Kemba and Ravenous.

The League of Legends community routinely investigates professional players. Both during tournaments and apart from tournament times. As the main purpose is to keep the players away from negative behaviours.

However, after these routine investigations, it has been revealed that 2 players exhibit negative behaviours. After their negative and inappropriate behaviour, they were punished within the framework of the rules.

Özgür Umut “KEMBA” Kars – Galakticos

After the routine investigations, it was determined that he displayed extremely inappropriate and unsportsmanlike behaviours in the game. As a result, he was banned from VFŞL(Vodafone Freezone Championship League) and AL(Academy League) matches for 8 months.

The date on which the ban will be lifted is 15.11.2021.

Berk “RAVENOUS” Er – Nasr Esports

After the routine investigations, it was determined that he displayed extremely inappropriate and unsportsmanlike behaviours in the game. As a result, he was banned from VFŞL(Vodafone Freezone Championship League) and AL(Academy League) matches for 3 months.

The date on which the ban will be lifted is 31.05.2021.

Both players were banned for the same reasons. But Kemba was banned longer. The reason for this is can be seen in the screenshot below.

He showed hate speech and homophobic behaviour in the game. This caused him to receive a heavier punishment from the community.

No statement has yet been made by Kemba and Ravenous about this situation. Likewise, no statement was made from the Galakticos and Nasr Esports teams.

This event surely put both LoL teams in a troubled situation in tournament matches.
