Twitch Bit Scam: lurzy0y0 Parted Ways With Fire Flux!

Professional VALORANT player İbrahim “lurzy0y0” Sandıkçı admitted that he was involved in Twitch Bit Scam and parted ways with Fire Flux Esports. He made a statement on his Twitter account.

In the statement he said:

Greetings to all,

I am very sorry for being involved in Bit Scam. A long time ago, I sent an e-mail to Twitch about the subject, opened a support request, but did not receive a response. After the data was leaked, the controversy about Bit Scam got to this point.

I’m having a really hard time and I’m totally wrong about it. I don’t want to prolong the matter too much. I am aware that my esports and streamer life is over. I am ashamed to come before you with such a crime.

I would like to thank the Fire Flux family for their financial and moral support. I apologize in your presence for leaving my teammates in this situation.

I’m really sorry, goodbye.

Salih “marqnue” Onaran, coach of the Fire Flux Esports Team, said:

Nothing will happen to İbrahim “lurzy0y0” Sandıkçı. When I was working at Wolfteam, this same scam was being done with JoyPara. The scammers were closing an internet cafe in Turkey’s X city and draining the balance of stolen credit cards from morning till night. With these credit cards, they buy JoyPara from us and sell the received JoyPara at a slightly lower price. I learned how these guys do this with fake accounts.

The scammers said, “You’re winning, we’re winning too.” I have compiled all the evidence of this transaction. As a company, we sent this to the police and reported it to the courthouse. At the end of the day, the courthouse told us, “Credit cards are personal, the responsibility is on the person himself, we have no means to interfere with it.”

As a company, we reported this situation to the banks. A transaction limit agreement was also made with banks. We, as a game company, solved this with banks. If the credit card is processed and the user does not know about it, the bank must be called immediately and these cards must be blocked. As far as I know, the finance, the courthouse does nothing about it.

I knew about the Bit scam. We have the conversations, the evidence, and I won’t reveal it. If necessary, we will hand it over to the police. 95% of the Twitch Turkey Streamers have done this transaction. I don’t think this thing is going anywhere. We will not give any punishment to İbrahim “lurzy0y0” Sandıkçı. İbrahim was already telling us. I won’t say anything about him.

There has been no statement yet from Twitch management on the subject. Stay tuned for more information!
