This week, we saw different tournaments from different games. The viewers, of course, tried to stick up with the tournaments they want to follow, so we see that Twitch streamers’ overall watched hours are slightly decreased. Besides that, we only see three streamers from the previous week’s most-watched streamers list. Also, by looking at the top two spots, we can say that Twitch viewers were hyped for the BLAST Premier Global Final 2020, one of the most prestigious CS:GO tournaments that took place between 19-24 January.
Gaules is known for streaming the CS:GO tournaments in Portuguese, and we couldn’t see him on the most-watched Twitch streamers list for a while. With BLAST Premier Global Final 2020, he became the most-watched Twitch streamer of the week. He also streamed in FIFA 21 and Among Us categories.
BLAST Premier’s official channel streamed the BLAST Premier Global Final 2020 all week long and placed in the second spot of the most-watched channels list.
xQc, again, couldn’t take the top spot this week because of BLAST Premier Global Final 2020. In fact, he was in the second spot on the list for a while, but this week, he became the third most-watched streamer of Twitch. He continued to play different games again. Other than his most preferred category, Just Chatting, he streamed games like Valorant, League of Legends, Mario Kart 8, and The Coin Game. He only spared 3 hours for Rust.
Despite being the streamer with the lowest air time on our list this week, tommyinnit was also the streamer with the most concurrent viewers of this week. The young Minecraft streamer, who is gaining a lot of popularity recently, had a 110-minutes-long stream on January 20 gained more than 650 thousand concurrent viewers.
One of the most popular Spanish streamers on Twitch, Auronplay placed on the fifth spot this week. He only streamed in Rust and Just Chatting, just like last week.
This week’s headline was the inauguration of Joe Biden, and of course, HasanAbi talked about that on Twitch while streaming in Just Chatting category. He also played Rust, HITMAN 3, and Resident Evil Village.
33-year-old Summit1g is active in the gaming and streaming world since 2012, and he became the seventh most-watched Twitch streamer of the week. Just like last week, he only streamed Escape From Tarkov.
We couldn’t see JuanSGuarnizo, one of the most popular Spanish streamers of Twitch, on the most-watched streamers list, but he placed in the eighth spot this week. He mostly streamed in Rust, Just Chatting, and Fortnite categories.
otplol_ is streaming different League of Legends tournaments in French, not only LEC, and they placed in the ninth spot of the most-watched Twitch streamers list.
Winstrike_tv is streaming BLAST Premier tournaments for the viewers from the CIS region. And by the interest from the viewers, the channel became the tenth most-watched channel on the list. Also, it’s the third channel on the list associated with BLAST Premier Global Final 2020 tournament.
