NAVI Became The Champion of BLAST Premier!

The current number one CS:GO team in the world, NAVI, defeated Vitality in the finals of BLAST Premier Fall and became the champion. The final of the tournament took place in front of a huge live audience at the Royal Arena in Copenhagen.

Natus Vincere beat BIG, Heroic, and most recently, Vitality in the Upper Bracket final, on their way to the grand finals. They dominated the tournament from start to finish.

The other finalist, Vitality, beat Team Liquid and Astralis to reach the Upper Bracket final. Losing to NAVI, the team won the Consolidation Finals against Astralis with a score of 2-1 and once again faced NAVI in the Grand Finals.

Natus Vincere vs Vitality

The first map of the grand finals was Vitality’s choice, Mirage. Starting the game with a 5:0 winning streak, NAVI kept this advantage until the last round. Being behind with a score of 9:6 at the end of the first half, Vitality managed to bring the match to 9:8 in the second half. However, Natus Vincere, who won 6 rounds in a row, managed to win the match with a score of 16:12. Thus, they took a 1-0 lead in the final series.

The second map of the grand finals was NAVI’s choice, Nuke. Starting the game with a 6:0 winning streak, Vitality didn’t give any chance to its opponent. Finishing the first half with a score of 11:4, Vitality dominated the map and won with a score of 16:6. Thus, the finals were tied again.

The last map of the final series was Inferno. Dominating the map, NAVI finished the first half with a score of 12-3. NAVI, which did not give a chance to its opponent in the second half, became the champion with a score of 16-7.

S1mple became the MVP of the tournament. He was Na’Vi’s best fragger throughout the entire series (76-46 K/D). Natus Vincere, the champion of the tournament, won $225,000 plus tickets for the BLAST Premier World Final 2021. Having a good tournament despite losing the final, Vitality ended the tournament by winning $85,000.
