NAVI Ranks #1 in the World After IEM Cologne Victory

NAVI became number one in HLTV rankings, overthrowing its rival in the same region, thanks to their tremendous success at IEM Cologne.

Vladislav ”nafany” Gorshkov’s team Gambit dropped to second place after a 14-week winning streak. Gambit finished 5-6th in the first LAN tournament since March 2020. Because of that they could not enter the summer break in the first place.

This was the team’s 4th first place title after NAVI’s 2016, 2020 and 2021 victories. However, their first stay was short. NAVI has held the top spot for 19 weeks overall so far. This number is quite insufficient when compared to Gambit. Because, Gambit has managed to stay in first place for 14 weeks this year alone. Still it is no small feat.

Aleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev and his friends will have the chance to prove that they are the best team in ESL Pro League Season 14, as soon as the summer break ends. ESL Pro League Season 14 will begin on August 16.

For the rest of the standings, the biggest change came from FaZe, who won 11 places. FaZe is currently in 6th place with 368 points. BIG, on the other hand, lost 2 places and regressed to 8th place with 339 points.
