The world-famous Swedish esports organization Ninjas in Pyjamas (NIP) is once again in the top 3.
With their excellent performances at the IEM Fall European tournament, NIP took the place of the Vitality and entered the top 3 in the world rankings. NIP, which was in the top 3 after IEM Oakland 2016, achieved this success once again 5 years later.
Under the leadership of Hampus “hampus” Poser, NIP players had a great streak of 11 matches in a row. NIP’s first major success since 2018 was the IEM Fall Europe. In the finals, they defeated ENCE with a score of 3-1.
Gaining good momentum after Nicolai ‘device‘ Reedtz joined the team, Ninjas in Pyjamas passed their closest rivals G2 Esports and Team Vitality and entered the top 3 in the world rankings.
The team will participate in the Battle of Betway event on October 20. Train, Tuscan, Cache, Cobblestone and Inferno maps will be played in this special event. Strong teams like G2 Esports and BIG will also participate in this event.
The team’s next target after this event will be PGL Major Stockholm. NIP, will start from the second stage tournament.
