In 2021, OMEN and Worten Game Ring announced the OMEN WGR European Challenge
with a €15,000 prize-pool, a competition aimed at European CS:GO teams.
Now, one year later, the same competition is back with a €20,000 prize pool, and some of
the best teams in Europe to fight for it.
This year’s competition will feature slight format changes, with 6 teams directly invited to the
final stage. Only 2 teams will be able to access the final stage through qualifier.
There will be a total of 3 open qualifiers, each of them qualifies 2 teams to the closed
qualifier:
The Closed Qualifier will have a total of 8 teams, 6 from the open qualifiers and 2 directly
invited, and will be played in Single Elimination BO3 from 17/02/2022 to 20/02/2022.
Once all teams are qualified, the final stage will take place from 03/03/2022 to 06/03/2022,
featuring two main phases: Groups and Playoffs. There will be a total of 2 groups, with 4
teams each played in BO1 Round Robin. The Playoffs will be played in Single Elimination
BO3 format.
For this year we are partnering up with ADVNCE, the gaming & esports project from the
national TV channel SIC, to bring you all the action on Twitch and Cable TV. Don’t forget to

The streamers that wish to broadcast the tournament just need to fill out a form to get access to all the relevant information.
