Organized by ESA Esports and sponsored by ininal, Open Fire Valorant Tournament has come to the semifinal stage. Yesterday, the quarterfinals took place with the participation of 4 invited and 4 qualified teams.
In almost every series of the playoff stage, the results surprised us. In 4 series, only 1 of the favourite teams managed to rise to the upper brackets. The other 3 teams have lost the series.
Anka E-Sports, entering the esports scene slowly but surely, has managed to win against Dark Passage by 2-1. In the Sangal Esports vs. MELİNA match, which took place at the same time, Sangal won against MELİNA bu 2-0.
In the other playoffs that started at 21.00, we again witnessed some surprising results. Futbolist, the First Strike finalist, has lost against OtherSide by 2-0 and got eliminated from the tournament. Beşiktaş Esports, with its renewed roster, has failed the expectations, again; and lost against İstanbul Wildcats bu 2-1.
As a result, Anka E-Sports, Sangal Esports, İstanbul Wildcats and OtherSide will participate in the semifinals.
Open Fire Tournament semifinal stage will be broadcasted, too. You can watch the matches on ESA Esports Twitch channel with the hosting of Berke ‘Vlad‘ Kantürk and Özgür ‘root‘ Alagül.
With the result of today’s matches, the 2 teams to play in the finals will be determined. The grand finale will take place tomorrow (15 January). We wish luck to all participants!
