Tournament organizer PGL has announced via their X account that the Singapore Major 2026 will serve as the second Major of the year.
PGL revealed that the second Major of 2026 will be played between November 25 and December 13. The tournament will feature a prize pool of $1,250,000.
The 32 participating teams will compete across three stages (Stages 1, 2, and 3). The playoff matches will take place at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, which has a capacity of 12,000, and the champion will be crowned after a Bo5 (Best-of-Five) grand final.
This tournament also holds great significance for the Asian region. By hosting this event in Singapore, PGL is bringing a Major to Southeast Asia for the first time.
Jean Ng, Assistant Chief Executive of the Singapore Tourism Board, stated the following:
Singapore has been host to exciting esports events such as The International, the largest DOTA 2 esports event in the world. We look forward with much anticipation to hosting our first Counter-Strike Major in 2026, which will reinforce Singapore as a world-class events destination.
“As one of the most prestigious tournaments in the Counter-Strike scene, the event promises to attract fans from around the region, and we invite them to also enjoy Singapore’s lifestyle experiences and vibrant energy.
