PGL Major 2021 Will Be Played In Stockholm!

PGL Major 2021, one of the biggest tournaments of CS:GO scene, will be held in Stockholm, the capital of Sweden.

The host of the PGL Major 2021, whose main location was uncertain for months, is finally announced. The tournament in Stockholm will begin on October 26. The location became clear when last Tuesday the Swedish Government removed the restriction concerning the indoor activities.

Tournament organizers will begin selling tickets for the $2 million event on September 22. The playoff stage will be played between November 4-7. It is aimed to have a full-capacity in Avicii Arena with approximately 14,000 people.

The tournament will begin on October 26 with the first of three stages. It will involve 16 teams participating as Challenger or Contender. The second stage will be played with the teams titled Legends. And 8 teams will go to Avicii Arena for the playoffs. The regional distribution of the 24 teams is as follows:

The teams that will participate are going to be determined after the IEM Fall tournaments. These tournaments will be played from September 29 to October 10. Teams will qualify for the tournament based on their Regional Major Rating (RMR) ranking. The teams that will participate have not been specified yet.
