PGL Major Antwerp 2022 will be conducted without the restrictions imposed by COVID-19 on spectators

PGL announced that the spectators attending the PGL Major Antwerp 2022 will not be subject to any limitations relating to the coronavirus pandemic. The organizer did not give any details regarding probable needs for team testing or vaccination.

The prestigious event will take place in Antwerp, Belgium, from May 9 to 22. The 18,000-seater Sport Palace in Antwerp will host the playoffs in front of a live audience.

There will be 24 teams competing in the PGL Major Antwerp 2022. The Challengers Stage will begin the event, followed by the Legends and Champions Stages. The overall prize fund for the competition is $1 million, with the winner receiving half of that.

PGL announced the commencement of ticket sales for the Major on March 15, with prices ranging from €35 to €295, depending on the day and the ticket level. Since then, the firm has not reported on the number of tickets sold.
