PSG Talon Announces Partnership with AMD!

Hong Kong-based esports organization Talon Esports has announced a partnership with hardware brand AMD. This collaboration entails AMD sponsoring Talon Esports‘ League of Legends team, PSG Talon.

With the upcoming Pacific Championship Series (PCS) League of Legends Summer Split, PSG Talon will utilize AMD PC components to enhance their hardware performance during practice and competitive matches.

Under this agreement, AMD will provide PSG Talon players with the necessary components, and in return, they will gain brand visibility on PSG Talon‘s jerseys throughout the remainder of the 2023 season. SteelSeries, another peripherals brand, had previously partnered with PSG Talon in February 2022, and their branding will also be present on the team’s jerseys.

The partnership between PSG Esports and Talon Esports was recently renewed in May 2023, committing them to continue working together for the next three years. Furthermore, PSG Talon’s collaboration with SteelSeries was also extended in March.

Since 2020, PSG Talon has emerged as one of the strongest League of Legends teams in the Asia-Pacific region. They recently secured a victory in the PCS Spring Playoffs in April 2023, which earned them a spot in the prestigious 2023 Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) held in London.

Sean Zhang, CEO of Talon Esports, talked about the partnership:

We are truly honoured to collaborate with AMD and equip our League of Legends team with the finest gaming performance hardware. AMD has always been at the forefront of innovation and is a trusted brand for computer processors. We eagerly anticipate working with AMD to enhance our players’ competitive advantage and unleash their full potential.
