PUBG announced that it will offer special advantages to the best esports teams with its partner program. The new partners of the Global Partner Team Program, which is open from December 1, were announced on the PUBG Esports official Twitter account. FaZe Clan and NAVI, which we all know closely, are the teams that are among the partners.
In the PUBG announcement, 8 teams were announced:
PUBG Esports stated that they will further develop the program and offer more privileges that will develop both players and teams.
In addition, these partners do not exist permanently. Every year, partner teams are evaluated and reviewed. If they meet the criteria again, their partnership continues.
It was announced by PUBG what criteria the teams that will be evaluated and examined every year should comply with. There are three main categories in the evaluation process. These categories are: Management, Fanbase, and History
1- Management
In this category, the general situation of the team, future plans and the legal structure of the organization are examined. In the shared evaluation criteria photo, the Management section constitutes 30% of the evaluation process.
2- Fanbase
In this category, PUBG evaluates the Fanbase of the teams. PUBG Esports measures the importance and value that the team’s audience attaches to the team. In the shared evaluation criteria photo, the Fanbase constitutes 40% of the evaluation process.
3- History
Finally, there is the History category. This category examines the team’s overall history in PUBG Esports, the team’s attendance records at PUBG Esports events, and the overall health of the players and coaching team. This accounts for 30% of the evaluation process.
Most esports followers find the criteria looked good and support it. While most of the 8 teams fully comply with all of these criteria, some win from the fans and history categories.
