PUBG PGI.S Weekly Final #5 Completed

The 5th Week finals of the PUBG PGI.S tournament ended with 5 matches played today. Weekly Final #5 included exciting moments. It was difficult to predict which team would win, as the teams were struggling with very close scores until the last minute. In spite of the fact that the Turkish team Digital Athletics, exhibited less performance than last week, Digital Athletics finished the event in 4th place. With this result, Digital Athletics made their fans happy at the end of the day.

The maps of the 5 matches which played today were respectively Miramar, Miramar, Erangel, Erangel and Erangel. In the 6th match, the first match of the day, Digital Athletics said goodbye to the map early and could not collect points by finishing in the 16th place without getting kills. Virtus.pro (VP) team won this match with its superior performance. The winner of the 7th match was Tianba (TIAN) and the 8th game was won by Infantry (IFTY). Digital Athletics could not collect points in 8 games. However, thanks to his effective performance in the 9th and 10th games, Digital Athletics got essential points and managed to get itself to the top 4. T1 (T1) team was the winner in the 9th match and the Turkish team Digital Athletics was the winner in the 10th match. The points collected by Digital Athletics in the matches are as follows:

  • 6. Match: 0 kill – 16. place – 0 puan
  • 7. Match: 5 kill – 11. place – 5 puan
  • 8. Match: 0 kill – 16. place – 0 puan
  • 9. Match: 6 kill – 5. place – 9 puan
  • 10. Match: 10 kill – 1. place – 20 puan

As a result of the games played, Gen.G (GEN) team finished first place with 76 points in the Weekly Final #5. Meta Gaming (META) ranked 2nd with 73 points, while Infantry (IFTY) ranked 3rd with 70 points. Turkish team Digital Athletics (DA), collected 69 points like Tianba (TIAN). There was an equality of points. In this case, the first points to look was the number of killings. However, it was seen that both teams received 41 kills. In this situation, the most points collected in a match were taken into consideration. Digital Athletics was ahead of Tianba with a 20-point victory in the last game. On the other hand, Tianba team collected 19 points with 9 kills in Match 7, thus Tianba finished in 5th place.

Gen.G team won a prize of $ 300,000, depending on the standings. With the product revenue, the money earned by the Gen.G team in total was $ 880,397. Meta Gaming, which finished the Weekly Final #5 in second place, was awarded with $ 150,000. Third and fourth teams, Infantry and Digital Athletics, were awarded $ 75,000. With this award won by Digital Athletics, it has risen to the 2nd place in the overall prize money ranking with a total of $ 361,920.

The 16 teams competing in the Weekly Final #5 will be among the top 16 teams in the Weekly Survival # 6. While the final week of the PUBG PGI.S tournament is entering, the teams which get a win in Weekly Survival # 6 will be qualified for Weekly Final # 6 at the weekend. The total prize pool for Weekly Final # 6 is $ 1,000,000. You can follow Weekly Survival # 6, which will be played on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, live on the PUBG Twitch channel.
