Rainbow Six Siege Pro league caster Michael “KiXSTAr” Stockley passed away on Monday, October 11, at the age of 24. The partner of the young caster, Parker “INTERRO” Mackay, shared the statement from his family on Twitter.
In their post, his family expressed their gratitude for how supportive the R6 community has been for Michael, and the love and support he has received from the community.
Joining the R6 community by playing for Team Orbit in 2016, Micheal later moved on to streaming. His first event as a caster was the third season of the R6 Pro League first year.
KiXSTAr was one of the most beloved and talented members of the Rainbow Six Siege Pro league talent team. Last year, he was awarded the Esports Colour Caster of the Year award at the Esports Awards 2020. He was also nominated as a finalist for this year’s version of the award.
Receiving the bad news, the Rainbow Six Siege Pro League team expressed their deepest condolences and postponed the North American League games, which were supposed to be played on Wednesday night, to a later date. They said they will announce the new calendar soon.
