Rejin Returns To Professional Scene With Entropiq Prague

Allan “Rejin” Peterson, who coached the mousesports organization for a year and a half, is returning to the professional scene.

The Danish ex-coach was banned by ESIC until May 2022 for exploiting the coaching bug. It is not possible for him to take part in official matches ESIC member and events sponsored by Valve. For this reason, he is only allowed to hold an analyst position in the Czech organization.

Rejin previously took part in the development of the Mad Lions organization for 5 months. Here he was the director of the organization and one of the creators of the new international project. The 33-year-old analyst parted ways with MAD Lions in July.

Rejin thinks the language barrier won’t be a problem. After a month’s trial, he joined Entropiq Prague as an analyst. Although he does not speak much Czech, he has been living with his family in the Czech Republic for the past two years.

The former coach talked about the journey that took him to choose Entropiq in a video interview.

I had a few offers from really interesting organizations, but me being close to home, I have a son coming here in November, it made sense to stay here in the Czech Republic.

In the end it’s also the professionalism that Entropiq showed me when I first arrived. I came and all the talks just blew my mind, and I didn’t expect that because I didn’t know much about Entropiq beforehand.

In the interview, Rejin also talked about his role in the team and how the ban affected him.

I was hired as an analyst and not the coach. It’s very important to make that distinction because I’m not going to be able to help the guys in official matches.

I’m only going to help them improve by analyzing the demos, analyzing the opponents, and of course helping out when they practice as much as I can.

The addition of a veteran is key to Entropiq’s development. Competing at a high level in local tournaments, Entropiq could not get the desired result in international tournaments. The team placed 22nd in ESEA Advanced Season 37.

The organization has made several changes recently. With these changes, they parted ways with their coaches Jozef “d0di” Kiss and AWPer Lukáš “capseN” Koláčný. Since the end of August, the team has been playing with Simon “KWERTZZ” Horák on a trial basis. Josef “MoriiSko” Maurenc is taking on the role of AWPer.

With the new roster, they lost against Enterprise in the grand final. After that, Tipsport, one of the biggest domestic leagues, took second place in the COOL Liga Season 10. They will now focus on their goals in REPUBLAGUE TIPOS Season 2, where they will play in Group D with MIBR, LDLC and ECLOT, which will start on October 11.

After the recent changes, the new roster is as follows:

  • Michal “leckr” Kadlíček
  • Filip “AJTT” Dolenský
  • Jan “HONES” Urválek
  • Josef “MoriiSko” Maurenc
  • Simon “KWERTZZ” Horák (trial)
  • Allan “Rejin” Petersen (analyst)

As esportimes, we wish good luck to Entropiq Prague.
