REZ was hospitalized with severe burns to his feet

NIP star Fredrik “REZ” Sterner’s girlfriend tweeted that the 24-year-old player was hospitalized after suffering severe burns to his feet and legs.

After spilling boiling water with potatoes on himself, the esports athlete got hurt. The player’s girlfriend stated that he is alright and that his hands are unharmed, but that the flesh on his legs has peeled off partially.

The news of Sterner’s injuries broke two weeks before NIP’s ESL Pro League Season 15 playoff match. The quarterfinals, which will take place on April 7 or 8, will kick off the critical round of the famous competition for the Scandinavian squad.
